Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of South Africa, of the other part

Summary: The Agreement offers an appropriate framework for dialogue between the parties in order to encourage the intensification of close relations and cooperation in all the areas covered by the Agreement, to support efforts to consolidate the economic and social bases of the transition process, to promote regional cooperation, in particular in the ACP countries, and integration into the world economy, in order to promote sustainable peace and stability in the region.
