Brazil

Looking at it from all perspectives, Brazil is a continent. It has different time zones and climatic zones, and is the largest economy in Latin America (and the sixth in the world). Brazil is very important to Flanders, particularly in terms of economy and trade. Flemish port missions and commercial traffic is regular from the Brazilian side. Flemish-Brazilian trade figures are steady and have been rising over the long-term. Politically, Brazil is firmly demanding an increasingly important place on the world stage. Flanders can therefore benefit from this by strengthening and deepening bilateral relations with Brazil.
