On 21 April 2016, the Country Strategy Paper (CSP) for Development Cooperation between Flanders and Mozambique was approved by the Government of Flanders.
The health sector will remain at the heart of cooperation with Mozambique; the Government of Flanders aims to commit annually € 5 million to this cooperation. However, both governments have agreed to place an additional focus on adolescents (10 – 19 years) and more specifically on adolescent girls, as Mozambican teenage girls are very vulnerable in terms of sexual and reproductive health and rights.
