Mophradat creates opportunities for artists from the Arab world through an inventive approach to funding, commissioning, collaborating, and gathering. Mophradat will develop a residency programme in Flanders for Arab artists. Spread over the next 18 months, the organization wants to select four Arab writers and artists and offers a programme with opportunities for meetings with Flemish colleagues. 

Mophradat's efforts to strengthen the position of artists and civil society organizations are based on the realization that they play an important role in democratization processes.
