This Flemish-Dutch project offers the possibility to indirectly address a social problem (stigmatisation of mentally ill people) with a cultural project.

This is a social problem of which the Japanese health care system is very aware, but for which one is looking towards Western Europe to make this theme a subject of discussion. Europe and Flanders have already coma a long way in making mental illness a subject of discussion. The museum Dr Guislain is internationally known for its knowledge and expertise in this field.

Flanders works closely with the cultural and creative sector to enchange its visibility on the international stage.
