  • March 5, 2015

On 4 March the Flanders Department of Foreign Affairs received a delegation from Quebec in Brussels, led by the General Representative of Québec, Mr  Michel Audet, for an interim evaluation of the 13th cooperation programme Flanders-Quebec.

But also at the other site of the Atlantic, representatives of Flanders and Quebec met to particapte in this evaluation by means of a video conference. Amongst them  Mieke Pynnaert, trade commissioner of Flanders Investment & Trade in Quebec.

Flanders and Quebec have been having excellent relations for over 20 years, involving culture, research and innovation, ports as well as education and immigration. Both delegations enthusiastically decided to pursue their cooperation. In the fall of 2015 a new mixed commission will meet to draft the 14th cooperation programme.
