Jan Peumans visits Lithuania

Flemish Parliament chairman Jan Peumans and a delegation visited Vilnius, Lithuania, on 20 September.

The delegation was received by the chairman of the Lithuanian parliament, the Seimas, Viktoras Pranckietis and had meetings with members of the Commission on Foreign Affairs and European Affairs.

Furthermore, the delegation had talks with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Germanas and the Vice-Mayor of Vilnius, Paluckas. As part of the mission, the delegation also visited the Museum of Genocide Victims in Vilnius. Yves Wantens, General Representative of the Government of Flanders in Poland and the Baltic States accompanied the delegation during their visit.

Chairman Jan Peumans now visited all Baltic parliaments.
