On 3 March, Minister-president Jan Jambon welcomed the President of Moldova, Igor Dodon, at the Errera House. Their main topic was the extension of the bilateral relations between Flanders and Moldova.
President Dodon wants to strengthen the economic ties. Currently, there are already more than 100 companies from our country active in Moldova and the president was very pleased with the announcement by Minister-president Jambon that Flanders Investment & Trade is planning a trade mission to Moldova in October.
As a country located on the eastern border of the EU, the Eastern Partnership as well as the relations between Moldova and the EU were discussed.
