On December 4, 2021, the 'Armored Wings' exhibition was officially opened in the Tank Museum of the Polish city of Poznan. The exhibition tells the story of the first Polish Armored Division that liberated several Flemish cities in September 1944, under the leadership of General Maczek. This traveling exhibition was shown in various Polish cities, but also in liberated Flemish cities and municipalities such as Roeselare, Tielt, Aalter, Sint-Niklaas and is now on permanent display in Poznan. The exhibition and the opening event were realized with the support of the Delegation of FlandersĀ in Poland and the Baltic States.
