On 7 October, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Flemish Institute for the Sea (VLIZ) and its Ecuadorian counterpart Dirección Intereses Generales Maritimos (DIGEIM) was signed.

On 28 September Minister-president Jambon opened the Zeeuwse Oesterontmoeting (Zeeland Oyster Meeting) with a video message. The organising Province of Zeeland and the Economic Board Zeeland chose "The economy after the crisis" as the theme for this largely digital meeting.

Minister-president Jambon approved a grant of 52.900 euros to the Belarusian human rights organisation Public Legal Aid. This centre provides free legal assistance to citizens and monitors human rights compliance by the Belarusian authorities.

The Bolivian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karen Longaric, and vice-Minister of Trade, Claribel Aparacio, were received by Minister-president Jambon at the Errera House on 30 September.

On 28 September, the new political year in the Flemish Parliament was opened by minister-president Jambon with the traditional September declaration.
