Country Strategy Paper Flanders - Malawi 2019 - 2023
The Country Strategy Paper (CSP) 2019 – 2023 is the result of a joint consultation process between the Governments of Malawi and Flanders. In line with the previous strategy, the efforts will be on improving the agricultural sector, with a specific focus on extension services, market-oriented farming and sustainable land management. Extra attention goes towards ensuring equal opportunities for women and youth, and to support the ongoing decentralization process within the agricultural sector.

Grant to UNAIDS for the fight against AIDS and HIV (2019)
Project: Renewal of the partnership with- UNAIDS Beneficiary: UNAIDS Duration: 2019 - 2020 Budget: 1500.000 euro The main focus of the partnership is prevention and vulnerable groups such as sexual minorities and adolescent girls. As in the previous agreement, one third of the grant is earmarked for the overall financing of the headquarters, the other third is intended to co-finance 8 country offices in Southern Africa: Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa , Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
