    Summary: To provide an appropriate framework for the political dialogue between the Parties allowing the development of political relations, support the Republic of Azerbaijan's efforts to consolidate its democracy and to develop its economy and to complete the transition into a market economy, promote trade and investment and harmonious economic relations between the Parties and so to foster their sustainable economic development and provide a basis for legislative, economic, social, financial, civil scientific, technological and cultural cooperation.
