Project: Vulnerable families in Urban Aleppo recover from the conflict and rebuild their lives and communities Beneficiary: Caritas International Belgium Budget: 100.000 euros Period: 2018 - 2019 The project of Caritas International Belgium aims to support vulnerable people in Aleppo and supports them in their search for sustainable solutions. Caritas International comes to the aid of victims of violence, natural catastrophes, and poverty whether in their own country or on the run through our local, national, and international network.

United Nations World Food Programme : food aid for Syrian refugees (2014)
Project: food aid for Syrian refugees Beneficiary: World Food Programme Duration: 2014 Budget: 110.000 euro 3 million Syrian refugees are registered in neighboring Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey. The World Food programme helps these refugess through a system of food credits (electronic coupons) so they can buy local food.

Project: emergency aid for Syrian refugees in their own country Beneficiary: Caritas Amount: 150.000 euro Duration: September 2015 After five years of war in the region, the humanitarian conditions of the Syrian people are worsening rapidly. More than 12 million people are in need of emergency assistance. 7.6 million are fleeing the violence in Syria and the neighboring countries. Caritas International supports these refugees in their own region. Many flee to the coast of Syria. Numberless families arrive with little or no means and are living in poor the humanitarian conditions.
