Summary: The Convention lays down a comprehensive regime of law and order in the world's oceans and seas establishing rules governing all uses of the oceans and their resources. Summary: The Convention is an instrument by which Parties to investment treaties concluded before 1 April 2014 express their consent to apply the Rules on Transparency. The Rules on Transparency, effective as of 1 April 2014, are a set of procedural rules for making publicly available information on investor-State arbitrations arising under investment treaties.The Convention supplements existing investment treaties with respect to transparency-related obligations. Project: food aid for Syrian refugees Beneficiary: World Food Programme Duration: 2014 Budget: 110.000 euro 3 million Syrian refugees are registered in neighboring Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Turkey. The World Food programme helps these refugess through a system of food credits (electronic coupons) so they can buy local food.
