  4. Agreement relating to the implementation of Part XI of the United Nations Convention on the law of the sea

  5. Agroforestry - CATS Banks Project (ICRAF) 2010

    Duration: 2010-2013 Budget: 319.709,77 euro Through this agroforestry project the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) will develop a sustainable, cost-efficient way to contribute to greater food security and poverty reduction for millions of farming families in Sub-Saharan Africa. Duration and budget In 2010, a grant of 319,709.77 euros was allocated to the project "Community Agroforestry Tree Seeds Banks (CATS Banks): Building Agroforestry Scaling up Platform for Diversifying Livelihoods Opportunity in Malawi and Mozambique".

  6. Agroforestry and Food Security (ICRAF) 2013

    Duration: 2013-2015 Budget: 400.000 The Government of Flanders decided to allocate a new contribution to the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) in Malawi. This organisation has been one of the partners of Flemish development cooperation since 2009. Duration and budget A contribution of 400,000 euros is charged to the 2013 budget. The programme will start in the spring of 2013 and will last three years. Problem definition Deforestation is a huge problem in Malawi.

  7. Air transport agreement between between the European Community and its Member States, on the one hand, and the United States of America, on the other hand

    Summary: The goal of this Agreement is to establish an open aviation area as a single market for air transport between the EU and the USA in which investments could flow freely and in which European and American airlines would be able to provide air services without any restriction, including in the domestic markets of each party.   8. Air transport agreement between the US, the EU, Iceland and Norway and the additional agreement between Norway, Iceland and the EU on the application of the agreement regarding air transport

    Summary: Norway and Iceland formally requested the accession to the EU-US Air Transport Agreement in 2007. These Agreements will ensure a consistent regulatory framework for flights between the US and the single aviation market in the EU – including Iceland and Norway.

    Summary: The overarching objective of the Basel Convention is to protect human health and the environment against the adverse effects of hazardous wastes.
