    Summary: The Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) with the Philippines is the first-ever bilateral agreement with the Philippines. The PCA with the Philippines marks an important step towards strengthening bilateral relations and the EU’s role in South-East Asia, based on shared universal values such as democracy and human rights.

  3. Partnership and cooperation agreement between the European Union and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of Iraq, of the other part

    Summary: The EU-Iraq Partnership and Cooperation Agreement will mark the first ever contractual relation between the EU and Iraq. It provides a legal framework covering issues from regular political dialogue to trade relations and regulatory cooperation, and development assistance.   4. Framework Agreement between the European Union and its Member States, on the one part, and the Republic of Korea, on the other part

    Summary: The aim of this Agreement is to extend the cooperation with Korea to areas such as science and technology, education, climate change and development assistance and to offer a broad basis for cooperation, including on major political and global issues. It will establish a fully coherent modernised framework for bilateral relations.   7. Political dialogue and cooperation agreement between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Andes Community and its Member States (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela), of the other part

    Summary: The agreement widens the scope of the previous 1993 agreement.  The main objectives of the agreement are to strengthen EU-Andean Community relations by developing political dialogue and reinforcing cooperation, and to create the conditions under which a feasible and mutually beneficial association agreement, including a free-trade agreement, could be negotiated between the parties.
